The RHPLC-2N1F model belongs to Dwyer Instruments' line of wall-mount air temperature and humidity transmitters. Wall-Mount Sensor Placement Affects BMS Intelligence
A BMS system is only as smart as its Analog Input signals, which must accurately reflect reality. No matter how good a sensor is, if it's installed in the wrong location, it will provide "garbage" data to the PID control algorithm.
Crucial Principle: The RHPLC-2N1F must be installed at a height of approximately 1.5 meters from the floor. This area is known as the Breathing zone, accurately reflecting human perception. Never install the device on a Sun-loaded wall, right next to tempered glass windows, or directly facing a Supply diffuser. If 14°C cold air from an AHU blows straight onto the sensor, it will mistakenly assume the room has reached the setpoint and send a signal to close the water valve, while in reality, 90% of the room's remaining area is still hot.
