The DwyerOmega RHP-3D22 is a duct-mounted temperature and humidity sensor featuring 0-10 VDC outputs for both measurements. How Does the RHP-3D22 Temperature and Humidity Sensor Work?

The RHP-3D22 sensor uses a capacitive polymer humidity sensing element to measure the relative humidity of the air. When ambient humidity changes, the sensor capacitance changes accordingly and is converted by the internal electronics into a 0-10 VDC analog output signal.

For temperature measurement, the device incorporates an integrated temperature sensor and provides a 0-10 VDC output corresponding to the measured temperature value. Both signals are transmitted to PLC, DDC, or BMS controllers for monitoring, data logging, and automatic control applications.

By measuring both temperature and humidity within a single device, the system reduces installation points and simplifies maintenance activities.
